2. EVENTS AND SERVICES
TANGO AIRES organizes and sells tickets, passes, registrations, and services related to tango events, including but not limited to:
- Festivals
- Competitions and Championships
- Milongas
- Shows and Performances
- Workshops and Classes
- Special Events
Information regarding schedules, venues, artists, teachers, judges, and event programs is provided in good faith and may be subject to change when necessary.
3. ORDERS AND REGISTRATIONS
By purchasing a ticket, pass, or registration, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
- All information provided is accurate and complete.
- You accept any specific rules and requirements applicable to the event.
TANGO AIRES reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, technical errors, or exceptional circumstances.
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are displayed in Euros (€).
Applicable taxes and fees will be indicated before the completion of the purchase where required by law.
We accept payment through the methods made available on the website, including:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Bank Transfer
- MB WAY
- Other available payment methods
Tickets, passes, and registrations are confirmed only after successful payment authorization and receipt.
5. TICKETS AND EVENT ACCESS
A valid ticket, pass, or registration grants access only to the specific event or service purchased.
Participants may be required to present their electronic ticket, registration confirmation, and/or identification upon entry.
TANGO AIRES reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or violates event rules.
6. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, tickets, passes, registrations, and event-related purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.
Requests for changes or transfers may be considered at the sole discretion of TANGO AIRES.
If an event is cancelled entirely by the organizer, participants will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the affected ticket, pass, or registration.
TANGO AIRES shall not be responsible for reimbursing travel, accommodation, meals, visa expenses, or any other indirect costs incurred by participants.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, purchased tickets and registrations will remain valid for the new date unless otherwise communicated.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Pursuant to Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to contracts relating to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Therefore, purchases of tickets, passes, registrations, and reservations for events organized by TANGO AIRES are not subject to the standard 14-day withdrawal period once the purchase has been confirmed.
8. LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TANGO AIRES shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, loss of enjoyment, travel expenses, accommodation costs, or other related losses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
TANGO AIRES shall not be held liable for any delay, modification, interruption, postponement, or cancellation of an event resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, earthquakes, floods, or fires
- Epidemics, pandemics, public health emergencies, or related governmental measures
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, riots, or threats to public safety
- Strikes, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, or utility failures
- Government actions, legal restrictions, travel bans, visa restrictions, or regulatory decisions
- Venue unavailability or other unforeseen operational circumstances
In the event of a force majeure situation, TANGO AIRES reserves the right to modify the event program, venue, schedule, format, speakers, artists, teachers, judges, or any other aspect of the event as reasonably necessary.
Where an event is postponed due to force majeure, tickets, passes, and registrations may remain valid for the rescheduled date.
Except where required by applicable law, TANGO AIRES shall not be obligated to provide refunds, compensation, or reimbursement for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants as a result of a force majeure event.us at: tangoaires.eu@gmail.com.
10. EVENT CHANGES
TANGO AIRES reserves the right to modify:
- Event schedules
- Programs and activities
- Venues
- Artists, teachers, performers, DJs, judges, or speakers
- Any other aspect of the event
when necessary due to operational, technical, safety, health, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Such modifications shall not automatically entitle participants to a refund.
11. COMPETITIONS
For competitions and championships organized by TANGO AIRES:
- Participants must comply with all published competition rules.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
- TANGO AIRES reserves the right to disqualify participants who fail to comply with competition requirements, engage in misconduct, or provide false information.
- No refunds will be granted in the event of disqualification.
Specific competition regulations may be published separately and shall form part of these Terms and Conditions.
12. PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDINGS
Photographs, video recordings, livestreams, and other media may be produced during events for promotional, documentary, educational, and commercial purposes.
By attending an event organized by TANGO AIRES, participants consent to the use of their image, likeness, voice, and appearance in such materials without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
Participants acknowledge that event areas may be photographed or recorded continuously and that TANGO AIRES may use such materials for promotional, marketing, educational, archival, and commercial purposes across all media formats, including websites, social media platforms, printed materials, and future event promotions.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify the organizer in writing before the event.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, including text, logos, images, graphics, videos, trademarks, and designs, is owned by or licensed to TANGO AIRES and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
14. DATA PROTECTION
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

16. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Portuguese courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
